Measuring Tips

Use a flexible tape measure, and if possible, have someone help you take measurements.

Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.

Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Chest

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).

Hips

With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).

Sleeves

Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.

Inseam

Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

If the fit is not perfect, return it within 30 days, as long as it's unworn, unwashed and unaltered. See returns policy.

Q&A

I'm very slim, 145 pounds, and 5'11". I typically wear small in jackets. But would a Small in the Teca fleece be too tight? Is it a fitted look or more relaxed?: GL, Teca Fleece is fitted - think "standard" for a fleece. Not super tight, but fitted. Sizing up is probably a good call!
Hello, I really like your Cotopaxi Men's Teca Fleece and want to purchase one in XL, which is my normal size. I have a 46 inch chest, your size chart chart indicates that chest size for an XL is only 42 to 45 inches. So now I'm not sure what size to get. AS an fyi Territory Ahead's size chart tells me it's 46 to 48 inches for an XL. HELP!! Cheers, Martin Myers: Hey Martin! The XL may be a little tight for you. The measurements on the site are accurate and up to date, so if you are outside of those it might be a good idea to size up to the XXL to ensure the chest is a good fit :)
