New features include improved weight distribution for a more comfortable carry, breathable air mesh shoulder straps, a stretch water bottle pocket for quick access on the move, and a luggage pass-through strap that slides securely over the handle of a rolling suitcase, making airport travel effortless.
Offering the same features and functionality as our standard Allpa 42L Travel Pack, the Del Día edition is crafted from repurposed deadstock fabric that might otherwise have ended up in landfill. Every backpack is completely one of a kind, with a unique colour combination that celebrates sustainability while helping reduce textile waste.

This Allpa pack is made with 100% recycled fabrics sourced from pre-consumer waste. We used recycled nylon for the shell and recycled polyester for the liner.

"I am so sad!!! This is my first time using this bag after getting it in the beginning on May. I’m at the airport on the way to my destination and my bag already ripped:( Will Cotopaxti do repairs? What sucks is that I didn’t misuse it or anything. My trip just started:((("
"Bought a new Allpa 42 as a gift. Will not be giving it as such. So many features have been removed & changed since we originally bought our Allpa 42 packs, less than 2yrs ago. Now the pack comes off as Cheap. Here are just the changes I noticed right off. . . - Removed Messenger Strap. - Removed carry handle from water bottle pocket side. - Shortened the water bottle pocket by ~1/2". - Shoulder straps appear cheaper & are rougher. Additionally, the shoulder tensioners have been removed. Resulting in straps that now cut into your neck. - Cheapened the construction of Top & Bottom carry handles. - Top outside pocket no longer has the 3 pockets inside its flap. Additionally, the 2 pockets that were inside the mess pocket have been removed & key clip is chintzy. - Removed outside zipper that gave easy access to the packs large inside compartment. - Laptop/Tablet compartment/sleeve appears cheap now. Lining is not as nice. Securing Velcro strap is gone. As is the pocket for storing the Rain cover. - Removed zipper and storage area from inside lower left compartment flap. - All the inside zipper pulls have been cheapened. - Removed the zipper pull retainers from the outside of the pack, for the main pack zipper. There are probably several other changes, if I were to look further. We are very disappointed to see such a quality product making such changes. We used to be proud of our Cotopaxi Packs & promoted the product. Now, we will have to reconsider and explore other options. Very sad…."
"I went into the fashion place location to purchase a new backpack for myself and my GF. I just want to say that the manner the store is designed and product lay out is done. it made the exp of deciding what we needed a great one! loved that the display of the bags are on the wall packed with stuffing showing what it looks like full - helped me better visualize what we were looking for in a $500 purchase. also the table in the store allowing us to layout the different colors we wanted was such a nice exp. will shop there again!"
"This pack is so large and the compartments make this the perfect carry on. You can easily fit a weekend worth of clothing and toiletries. For camping/hiking the extra straps create great stability and security."

"I was so excited to purchase a Cotopaxi travel bag. My sister has an older one that I have always been jealous of. I saved up, finally ordered it, only for it to arrive and I realize the load lifting straps at the shoulders have been removed on this new version. WHY!? (For those that don’t understand; load lifting straps pull the load closer to your back, help to keep the weight off your shoulders, and reduce pressure on your lower back. Removing them makes this bag way less comfortable to carry on your back. ) This bag is now indistinguishable from the other bags on the market. I specifically chose Cotopaxi over Patagonia’s black hole because of those straps, only to find out they got rid of them. The worst part is you can see on the straps where they used to be attached on older versions. I returned mine, I’m not spending that kind of money on something the company altered to make worse."
