Description

Like our fan-favorite Fuego, just with more puff and more warmth, the Fuego Max Down Hooded Jacket provides toasty relief on windy summits and dog walks at dawn. It’s wind- and water-resistant, with spacious hand and chest pockets to stash a phone, hand warmers, or an extra set of gloves.

    Warmest Coat I’ve ever owned!

"The Fuego Max Down is exactly that - Fuego! Really a beautiful jacket, super well made with smart touches. Love the lined pockets, and the breathable warmth. I’ve owned Patagonia, North Face Summit series, but this is that slight edge better."

    Great

"this is an incredibly warm jacket for how light it is. I have a wool peacoat that isn't much warmer than this and is very heavy and definitely cannot be packed into a suitcase. This can fold down into literally the size of a tissue. Keep in mind Cotopaxi sizes run ridiculously large. I am a medium or large most places and Cotopaxi is the only place I'm a small."

    Alexander D. (5/5)

    The outerlining is too thin

"The outer lining is too thin, price more than $200 vs other brands, cotopaxi downgrade the quality."

    Fuego Max Black

"Jacket is great! Material feels nice and it’s comfortable and warm out in this Michigan winter. Great for everything. I ordered my regular jacket size and it fit big. Exchange was smooth, quick, and easy. Exchanged for a size down and fits great with room for layering! Will definitely buy more!"

    Super warm, light, & versatile

"I got this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it. Wisconsin winters are no joke and this is a great outer layer for dog walks in single digit degree weather. He really likes that the length is just slightly longer than expected."

    Amelia B. (5/5)

    Not worth the money

"I live in New England, I wore it the first time yesterday during a holiday stroll, it was 16 degrees outside. It was not warm enough, had to wear a hoodie inside. I was hoping it is warmer. The elastic on the handcuffs are loose. There is no way to tighten the hood so it was blowing off in the strong winds. The look and the color is good. My North Face with 600 downfill is warmer"

    Sanchari S. (4/5)

    Smooth as Butter

"I recently upgraded from an LL Bean down jacket to this Fuego Max Down Hooded Jacket, and let me tell you - I couldn't be happier! With very little added bulk, I'm much warmer in the winter air. The pockets are deeper and the shell is smooth as butter. Great for folks with texture sensitivities."

    Daniel S. (5/5)

Perfect for CLE cold and mild winters

"My son wanted a warmer jacket tha isn’t bulky, this is perfect for day to day in Cleveland."

    Kristin K. (5/5)

    Favorite jacket

"It’s warm. Has a ton of pockets and zippers. And folds up inside a pocket (added feature I didn’t know came with it:))"

    David Z. (5/5)

Stylish, but a lot less dense than I imagined

"This was my first time purchasing a fancier brand-name puffer jacket, and I intentionally bought the "max down" version of the Fuego as I'll be speding time in the snow, but I was very surprised that my jacket arrived with probably 20% of the down insulation I was expecting, at least when compared to what I've gotten from mid-level stores like Gap, H&M, etc. for a fraction of the price. Sure, the down from these other stores is not be sustainable, and in some cases its probably synthetic. . . but it kept me so much warmer!"
