Measuring Tips

Use a flexible tape measure, and if possible, have someone help you take measurements.

Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.

Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Chest

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).

Hips

With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).

Sleeves

Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.

Inseam

Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

"The large packing cube can fit quite a lot (3 pairs of shorts, 5 shirts, 4 pairs of socks, 4 undershirts and 4 pairs of underwear). I could zip it closed as well as the second zipper to collapse it tight. Very impressed with how easy it was without any issues nor bunching up of fabric."

"I recently purchased the Cotopaxi packing cube set as well as the shaving kit bag and the bag for tech items specifically for our trip to Australia/Tasmania and New Zealand. They performed perfectly on our trips and cruise. I use the 35L Allpa Travel Pack as my carry-on/second suitcase. If my checked luggage is lost, I have everything I need in the Travel Pack. It’s useful when we stay in hotels before and after cruises as I don’t have to open my checked bag. I’m looking forward to purchasing the new large roller bag as my primary checked bag.
