Use a flexible tape measure, and if possible, have someone help you take measurements.
Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.
Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).
With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).
Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.
Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

"I purchased this item for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It is a flattering fit and does not feel like a heavy jacket. Great value for money."
"Ordered a fleece in XL, fits great. So I ordered this jacket in XL and it’s absolutely massive. I am 6’2 198 and it fits like a 2-3xl. Unfortunately it was final sale so I’m stuck with it."
"The Men’s Calidez Down Parka is great. Beautiful style and craftsmanship. Fits perfectly and at $100 off I couldn’t pass it up."
"He loves the jacket, was the best gift for Christmas for him."
"I’ve now worn the Calidez through two NYC blizzards in a month, the last blizzard that hit a month ago and the current “snow bomb,” and consider it the best parka on the market for the price. Being strong and stocky, I wanted a parka that didn’t make me look bigger. The Calidez does the job of being streamlined with sleek lines and warm without being heavy and bulky. I’ve stood at bus stops during blizzards, in 10 degrees Fahrenheit, and felt nothing. It’s not long either, providing coverage for my average height. When the blizzard started kicking up last night, I had such confidence in the Calidez that at 10pm, I suggested to my wife that we go to the neighborhood spot for a few glasses of wine. After taking my first steps into the snow, I zipped up, closed the storm flap, and threw the hood over my head. I felt untouchable. I run hot, by the way, and those giant North Face & Canada Goose parkas make me sweat the moment I step indoors. That doesn’t happen with the Calidez. You unzip, and that’s it. Comfort. No overheating from the sleeved furnace you volunteered to wear. There are side pockets in front, two mesh dump pockets inside, and a front zip pocket that sits high and is great for my cellphone. There’s also a hidden zip pocket inside that I just discovered. I kinda wish there were two front dump pockets too, just to drop my gloves with ease, but I figure that would make the coat bulky, and that’s what we want to avoid, so I’m okay with it. I just tuck my gloves into the inside dump pockets. A small detail I love is that the Cotopaxi lettering is blacked out, and though it’s slick and somewhat reflective, it’s still very discreet so I don’t feel like a walking advertisement. I hate feeling like I’m serving to promote a brand instead of the brand serving me. Nice job with this, Cotopaxi! I do also wish the coat came with a fur ruff, even a faux one. It would add that pocket of warm air in front of my face that the Inuit sought when attaching fur to their hoods. At $400, you won’t find a better parka than this. I walked pass Canada Goose the other day and saw a line of people waiting to get inside. Are you kidding me? I was wearing my sleek new Calidez and smiling. I’d made out like a bandit. If you run hot like me, skip the Canada Goose status symbol purchase, save yourself a thousand dollars, and purchase the Cotopaxi Calidez."
"I'm on a volunteer committee that works outside a lot. The committee colors are blue so I bought this online for cold day work shifts. I haven't used it yet but it looks and feels solid. I normally wear XL Cotopaxi so I got a 2XL for layering. It came in way too big so I ordered an XL. The XL fits perfect even considering layering. I returned the 2XL and it was one of the easiest return procedures I have ever dealt with."
"Love my new jacket from Cotopaxi. Not only is it perfectly warm, the style is so cool. I spent hours and hours trying find a jacket that is both functional and looks great, Cotopaxi hit the mark and then some. I have already now bought some gloves and this will be one of my brands moving forward!!!!"
"My CA son is a freshman at a college in PA. He was not expecting the frigid temperatures that they are getting this winter. I got online to look for recommendations for warmest parkas and found the Calidez Down Parka. My kid is super happy. That’s all I need to know!"
"This jacket is very well-built. Minimal yet elegant looking. I wanted something that is warm and waterproof for my husband. We looked at a few different brands but either the fit isn’t as snug or the design is too bulky. This jacket was just right - good looking and functional, very weather proof for NY winter. It does run a little big. My husband is typically a medium but the small here fits him just right."
"My 3rd item from Cotopaxi and it might be my favorite. Great fit and keeps the wind and cold out. 8/10 for warmth. 10/10 for fit and looks."
