Measuring Tips

Use a flexible tape measure, and if possible, have someone help you take measurements.

Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.

Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Chest

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).

Hips

With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).

Sleeves

Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.

Inseam

Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

"I’m usually not one to take the time to write a review but the Allpa 50L is definitely worth leaving a review. Gotta spread the word! The design is well thought out making it perfect for travel; having the zip-off top with a fancy fanny pack, converting the bag to the perfect carry-on sized luggage and the quality of material is some real good stuff. Near Perfect

"I love everything about this bag. The only thing I would change is on the 8L bag. Sewing the end of the bag straps facing outwards instead of inwards would allow the elastic strap-stay to slide underneath it to lock it down. Right now it is sewn downwards and the elastic can slip over the strap end."

Good bag, needs better zippers

"The top attachable top bag should have been turned around so the zippered pockets faced the front of the bag. If you lay the bag down and open a pocket on the top bag, everything falls out. More importantly, the zippers should be locking zippers. If I check this bag on a plane, I'm 100% confident it will unzip itself and I'll lose all of my stuff. I have to use a carabiner to keep the two main zippers together. They seemingly cheaped out on a very important feature of the bag."

I love the pack but

"I love everything about the pack, but there should be a note about the size of shoes that can fit in the small bag at the bottom of the pack. My shoes do not fit in that small bag. Maybe my shower sandals can fit there, but not my regular shoes. Maybe if you're a small person or a girl, your shoes can fit there, but not for an adult male. Overall, besides that small detail, I love the bag and its versatility. I am often backpacking, and I know I will love it on my next adventure."
