Beautiful, practical daypack

"I’m really happy with this daypack. The color is even prettier in person, and it feels fun without being too bright or childish. I especially love the wipe-clean front panel, which makes it feel much more practical for travel, errands, and everyday use. The size is just right for carrying what I need without feeling bulky, and the overall design feels thoughtful and well-made. It’s a great mix of cute, functional, and durable."

Made for life!

"We are a Cotopaxi family and we recently got our 4 year old her first pack. It looks great on her and the chest clip and luggage strap are such great features for a kids bag. She’s so excited and we couldn’t be more happy with our purchase."

Great 'personal item' pack for air travel

"I recently purchased this pack for a trip to Greece. I flew to Heathrow on United then to Athens on Aegean with no problems using it as a personal item. I had it full and it fit just fine everywhere I put it. It also worked well for use as a backpack around town and the islands. It has plenty of room for essentials and a jacket and the different compartments were perfect for keeping organized. The dual water bottle holders were great and the pass-through luggage strap was awesome."

This is the best

"I wear this bag everywhere! It’s the perfect size. Traveling, work days, sightseeing. . . It’s lightweight, compact, and fits my laptop perfectly. I have the pack in Black…I get compliments on it constantly. If you need a pack that looks great and just works, this is the one."

Allpa 18L

"This is my first Cotopaxi pack but it definitely will not be my last!. It’s extremely comfortable, holds a ton while still being compact, and is rain repellent (perfect for the PNW)! This pack is going to be perfect either heading into the office or on my next adventure! Thank you for continuing to design the best gear Cotopaxi!"

Almost Perfect

"I used the Cotopaxi Allpa 18 as my personal item during a 10-day trip. Comfort Fit: The Allpa 18 is well suited for people with a smaller frame. At 5'3" and 110 lbs, I found it very comfortable overall. Padding: Many reviews criticize the shoulder straps, and I partially agree. During walks with a light load (water bottle, jacket, med pouch, and snacks) the backpack was comfortable. However, when fully packed at the airport, I noticed shoulder fatigue after standing in lines for a while. I was pleasantly surprised by the front strap. I initially expected it to get in the way but it helped distribute the weight during walks and made the pack feel more secure. Even though the back panel and shoulder straps could use additional padding, the backpack isn't large enough to become uncomfortably heavy. Breathability: This is definitely not a hiking backpack and the breathability isn't great. However, for occasional light hikes while traveling it performs just fine. Organization Pockets The top quick-access pocket is very nice. I kept my passport and wallet in the internal zippered pocket while the remaining space held other small items. The front side pocket worked well for flatter items such as my med pouch. Despite not usually liking this style of pocket I didn’t have issues accessing or closing it. The stretch water bottle pockets held my 500ml metal bottle and my 1L CamelBak. Both stayed securely in place though it was somewhat difficult to insert the CamelBak especially when the backpack was full. Interior The main compartment was my biggest disappointment. It includes two tablet sleeves but very little internal organization. I would have preferred one of the sleeves to be replaced with a zippered mesh pocket. The tablet sleeve barely fits my 13-inch iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil attached and doesn't provide much protection. I found the second sleeve unnecessary and rarely used either of them. Material The front panel resisted stains throughout the trip. I also like the way the material on the front feels and how it gives the backpack a very pleasant smooth appearance. The fabric on the sides stained fairly easily but still handled light rain without allowing water inside. Conclusion Overall, I was very happy with the Allpa 18. Despite its compact size it held everything I needed as a personal item for a 10-day trip combined with a carry-on suitcase. I even had enough room to bring my pillow and return with a bunch of souvenirs. The backpack looks great and feels comfortable for its size. While I would like to see better internal organization and better padding, those are relatively minor drawbacks in an otherwise well-designed backpack."
