Use a flexible tape measure, and if possible, have someone help you take measurements.
Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.
Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).
With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).
Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.
Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

"We bought a another backpack for our second child. The first backpack is still in top form even with daily abuse from our toddler as they drop it and (sometimes) drag it to daycare. These are great for daily trips, long travel, and everything in between. Top quality, we love the bright colors; will continue to buy more!"
"I’m blind, so I got this kids backpack for myself because it’s the perfect size to carry my fold up cane as well as any items I need during my day, like a jacket, a snack, a towel for the beach, sunscreen and also has the side meshes for a drink or two. It would be great to send your little one off to school too. While it won’t fit textbooks it will definitely fit an extra layer and lunch. Dursble. Great choice. A bit heavier because of the structure but it doesn’t make a big difference. It’s built to last."
"I’m an adult who chose your kids backpack for me because I like the smaller size, which also helps me control the weight on my shoulders and back. The catch is that this model doesn’t have a front pocket, so I must keep opening the large pocket to get my keys. A front pocket to hold small items is the only improvement I’d suggest. Thanks!"

"This is the second attempt in finding a suitable color scheme for my child. The size, fit and pockets are great for a 7 year old kid. I have previously purchased a few del dia products and loved the colors I received. For kids I now realize the random colors are fun but also risky as kids are picky about colors. My daughter was not a fan of getting a mostly black and blue backpack the first time. The second bag was better but still not ideal. I would have loved a few girl/ boy color options as other bags have along with the del dia option. Or as sometimes other del dia bags allow you to choose the actual bag you’re getting would be better for kids. It would have saved us a return and allowed us to use the bag sooner. Overall the bag is loved and the perfect size for the 7/8 age range. She is long and lean but about average height for her age maybe slightly taller."
"This was the only pack that was realistically the size for my 7 year old with moderate ASD. I was worried that he would not like the fabrics chosen for the del dia pack. And he would have no trouble telling you if it wasn’t good. Boy was I wrong. He immediately loved it! Especially all the colors. It fits his 11inch iPad, Nintendo Switch 2, Iclever ANC headphones, and a portable power bank, and light jacket with no problems! Highly recommend"

"We purchased the Dimi explicitly as a personal carry-on that could double as a daily backpack for our winter trip to South Korea. Given the long flight, I also needed something that could hold my Macbook Air. This kid backpack fully delivered!! Macbook fit easily in the water pouch (without a case), the 2 cup holders perfect Held a water bottle on one side and coffee mug on the other. Given the long days, the front section easily held sun glasses, power bank, several travel books, small souvenirs, and small snacks. The inside main area held everything from extra sweaters, scarves, and gloves to larger gifts and to-go meals. It really did it all!! This was the best purchase we’ve made for a smaller daily backpack that could weather 12 hour days and fit under the seat in front with room for your feet."
